Magic Aquarium in Tashkent
The Magic Aquarium is a large oceanarium located in the modern Tashkent Magic City Park. The water complex is called unique: the Magic Aquarium is one of the most remote oceanariums from the sea in the whole world.
A walk through the oceanarium
The Magic Aquarium contains more than 3,000 different inhabitants of seas and rivers. The territory of the complex is divided into 12 zones. The enclosure with funny penguins deserves a special mention. Probably the largest number of visitors gathers around this space.
In some halls of the complex, there are terrariums with snakes and lizards. In total, about 100 species of animals live here.
There is a 20-meter underwater tunnel in the oceanarium. Visitors can not only take some interesting photos here, but also watch the feeding of sharks and stingrays (it is better to find out the time of such events in advance).
Closer to the end of the walk, guests enter the zone with jellyfish. Their aquariums are illuminated with bright colors — this creates a simply unforgettable impression.
Entrance to the territory of the Magic City park itself is free, tickets to the oceanarium must be purchased separately. This can be done at the ticket offices on the first floor of the complex or on the Magic Aquarium website. After a walk through the water world, you can, for example, walk to the Seoul Mun embankment or go to Tashkent City Park.
