Seoul Mun Promenade in Tashkent
In recent years, many gastronomic zones with various establishments and dishes from all over the world have appeared in Tashkent. One of such places is Seoul Mun, a promenade on the banks of which there are a huge number of restaurants, cafes, and fast food outlets.
Seoul Mun — what to see?
Seoul Mun is located on both banks of the picturesque Burjar Canal. The name of this place did not appear by chance: Seoul Street runs next to the complex. It got its name after the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea. Seoul Mun, in turn, translates as "Seoul Gate".
The Seoul Mun complex was built quite recently: just a few years ago, its territory was an unlandscaped plot of land by the canal. The promenade project was created by specialists from the UAE, Turkey, Russia, England, the USA, South Korea, and Uzbekistan.
On the territory of Seoul Mun, there is a wide variety of establishments: here you can try Uzbek, Turkish, Chinese, or Japanese dishes, order unusual drinks, or simply enjoy ice cream.
In the evenings, a bright musical fountain show takes place on the canal. You can get here for free.
Travelers often combine a visit to Seoul Mun with a walk through Magic City park. There you can also enjoy the fountain show or just take a few photos against the backdrop of a fairy-tale castle.
