Sukok forest in Uzbekistan
If you come to Uzbekistan in the warm season, you can go on a fascinating walk among the majestic mountains. One of such popular places among travelers is the Sukok forest. This natural attraction is located not so far from Tashkent, and the route passing here is suitable for tourists of various fitness levels.
Walk through Sukok
Sukok is a large walking area with hiking trails and natural attractions: there is a small waterfall and a cave here. Guests can plan their trip here on their own: some reach the end of the route (the length of the path is about 2.5 kilometers), others stop in the central part to have a picnic.
Despite the fact that Sukok is called a forest, the walking area is little like a place with dense thickets. Although at the beginning of the path you will be met by a real pine forest, other sections of the route pass through an open territory. Do not forget to take sunscreen on the road.
You can walk around Sukok as part of a tourist group or on your own. The best time for a trip is spring. If you prefer to go here by car, the route can be laid out using Yandex Maps. Entrance to the territory is paid. Cash or international bank cards are accepted at the ticket office. It is worth considering that on weekends there are quite a lot of cars here, and it may happen that you will have to leave your car far from the entrance to the territory.
If you like such hikes among the mountains, you can plan a trip to the Tavaksay valley of waterfalls or go to Mount Kungurbuka.
