Walk through the park
There is an interesting feature in Tashkent: many sights and iconic locations of the city are often associated by locals only with their previous names. The same thing happened with Central Park: many know it as Telman Park. The recreational area was founded in 1934. In the past, there was a cinema hall, a music lounge, a stage, and a pavilion for board games.
Now it is a modern complex where both adults and children will find something interesting. In the center of the park, there is a Ferris wheel offering an excellent view of the city.
In the part furthest from the main entrance, there is a pond where many guests always gather. The fact is that this pond is inhabited by colorful fish that you can feed. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy a bag of fish food.
Central Park is located a few minutes' walk from the Hamid Alimjan metro station. Entrance to the recreational area is free. You can combine a walk here with a visit to the Central Ecopark or an exploration of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
