Japanese Garden in Tashkent
The Japanese Garden is located in the northern part of Tashkent. In spring, guests come here to take bright photos of cherry blossoms (sakura). At other times of the year, the garden turns into a cozy place for walking and recreation.
What to do in the Japanese Garden
The Japanese Garden is a relatively new attraction in Tashkent: the recreation area was opened in 2001. It is easy to get here by metro — one of the exits of the "Bodomzor" metro station is a few minutes' walk away. Entrance to the territory is paid. You can pay for the visit in cash or with bank cards.
The best time to come to the Japanese Garden is spring. At this time, bright sakura blooms on the territory, but even if you come here in summer or autumn, you will easily find several locations for taking interesting photos.
Walking paths are laid out on the territory of the Japanese Garden. There is a small pond with fish and a Tea Pavilion, as well as bird enclosures. In the far part of the garden, there is a small street cafe with ice cream and drinks.
In the eastern part of the garden, there is a pier where you can rent a catamaran for a water trip on the pond (rental is paid separately). If you are planning a celebratory event, the garden staff can help you organize a photo shoot.
After a walk through the garden, you can walk to the Minor Mosque or the Tashkent TV Tower — there is a panoramic observation deck on one of its upper levels.
