Minor Mosque

History of the mosque
Minor is one of the modern mosques in Tashkent. Its construction began in 2013. The opening of the complex took place for the Kurban Hayit holiday in 2014. The President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, participated in the ceremony. The construction time of the complex is called record-breaking.
The mosque has two minarets; their height is 43 meters. The height of the main dome of the complex reaches 36 meters. The prayer hall accommodates 2 400 people.
The mosque differs from many other similar structures with its unusual white marble decoration. In clear weather, the building looks simply magnificent.
Minor Mosque is an active mosque; you can enter the territory for free. Guests can walk around the complex and admire the main hall of the building. There is a separate entrance for tourists here.
Certain rules apply in the mosque: visitors must have their shoulders and knees covered, and women will need a headscarf. Special capes are usually provided at the entrance.
Not far from the mosque is the Navruz Park. In the warm season, you can take a walk there. The route passes near the canal. You can also take some excellent shots here.
